Official Rules - Happy Pig Studio 2026 Art Show Giveaways
No purchase necessary. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning. Void where prohibited.
1. Sponsor
The sponsor of the Happy Pig Studio 2026 Art Show Giveaways (collectively, the “Giveaway”) is Happy Pig Studio (“Sponsor”), 618 Centerpoint Way #83052, Gaithersburg, MD 20883. Questions may be sent to hello@happypigstudio.com.
2. Two separate drawings and entry periods
The Giveaway consists of two separate event drawings with separate entry pools:
- Hayward drawing: The Hayward entry period begins September 26, 2026 at 12:01 AM Central Time and ends September 26, 2026 at 6:00 PM Central Time.
- Bayfield drawing: The Bayfield entry period begins October 2, 2026 at 12:01 AM Central Time and ends October 4, 2026 at 5:00 PM Central Time.
Central Time means the time then observed in the United States Central Time Zone. All stated times fall during Central Daylight Time. Sponsor’s Shopify submission record is the official timekeeping record. The entry form will not be displayed outside an approved entry period. Submissions outside the applicable entry period are not eligible.
3. Eligibility
The Giveaway is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who, at the time of entry, are at least 18 years old and at least the age of majority in their state of residence.
The Sponsor, anyone directly involved in administering the Giveaway, and members of their immediate households are not eligible. For these rules, an immediate household member is anyone who lives at the same residence, whether or not related, and immediate family includes a spouse, parent, child, sibling, or their spouse.
The Giveaway is void where prohibited or restricted by law. Entrants are responsible for determining whether they are legally permitted to enter.
4. How to enter and entry limits
During an applicable entry period, visit https://happypigstudio.com/pages/giveaway, complete the required fields, and submit the form after agreeing to these Official Rules and confirming eligibility.
Limit one entry per person and email address in the Hayward drawing and one entry per person and email address in the Bayfield drawing. The same otherwise eligible person may submit once during each event’s entry period; however, the verified Hayward winner is excluded from the Bayfield drawing and cannot receive a Bayfield prize. Entries are assigned only to the event whose entry period contains the Shopify submission timestamp. Email addresses are compared case-insensitively after surrounding whitespace is removed. If multiple submissions are received for the same person or email within one event, only the earliest timely eligible submission receives an entry in that event. A duplicate in one event does not affect a timely eligible entry in the other event.
Automated, scripted, fraudulent, incomplete, inaccurate, untimely, or otherwise invalid entries may be disqualified. No purchase is necessary. A purchase does not increase the odds of winning. Internet access and standard data charges may apply.
5. Optional marketing consent and privacy
Consent to receive marketing email is optional, separate from Giveaway entry, and not required to enter or win. Declining marketing consent does not affect eligibility or the odds of winning. Selecting the optional marketing checkbox authorizes Happy Pig Studio to send email about new artwork, upcoming shows, and studio news. A subscriber may unsubscribe at any time.
Entry information will be used to administer the Giveaway, assign entries to the correct event, verify eligibility, prevent duplicate or fraudulent entries, select and contact potential winners, maintain drawing records, and fulfill prizes. Information will otherwise be handled according to the Happy Pig Studio Privacy Policy.
6. Prizes
- Hayward drawing: One winner will receive one $50 USD Happy Pig Studio digital gift card, approximate retail value $50 USD.
- Bayfield drawing: Three different winners will each receive one $50 USD Happy Pig Studio digital gift card, approximate retail value $50 USD each. The verified Hayward winner is ineligible for the Bayfield drawing, and a Bayfield entrant may win no more than one Bayfield prize.
Four prizes will be awarded in total, with a total approximate retail value of $200 USD.
Gift cards will be created only after each potential winner has been verified and approved by the Founder. They will not expire unless a different lawful term is explicitly approved. They are not redeemable for cash except where required by law and may be used for eligible Happy Pig Studio purchases online or through Shopify POS, subject to any lawful terms presented with the card.
Prizes are non-transferable before issuance, and no substitution or cash equivalent is permitted except that Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if an advertised prize becomes unavailable. Winners are responsible for any federal, state, or local taxes or other costs associated with accepting or using a prize.
7. Odds
The odds of winning the Hayward prize depend on the number of eligible Hayward entries. The odds of winning a Bayfield prize depend on the number of eligible Bayfield entries. The event entry pools are separate.
8. Winner selection
For each event, Sponsor will finalize a separately numbered list of eligible entries after excluding late, duplicate, invalid, fraudulent, and ineligible submissions. Entrants who declined marketing consent remain eligible. Sponsor will record the eligible-entry count and a SHA-256 hash of each finalized list and will use a documented cryptographically secure random method.
- Hayward: At approximately 12:00 PM Central Time on September 28, 2026, Sponsor will randomly select one potential winner from the eligible Hayward pool.
- Bayfield: Before selection, Sponsor will exclude the verified Hayward winner from the Bayfield pool. At approximately 12:00 PM Central Time on October 5, 2026, Sponsor will randomly select three potential winners from the remaining eligible Bayfield pool without replacement. After each selection, that entry will be removed from the pool before the next selection so that three different entrants are selected.
Selection records will be maintained privately and will not publicly display entrant email addresses.
9. Winner notification and claims
Sponsor expects to contact the Hayward potential winner by email no later than 3:00 PM Central Time on September 28, 2026. The Hayward potential winner must respond and confirm eligibility by October 1, 2026 at 5:00 PM Central Time.
Sponsor expects to contact the three Bayfield potential winners by email no later than 3:00 PM Central Time on October 5, 2026. Each Bayfield potential winner must respond and confirm eligibility by October 9, 2026 at 5:00 PM Central Time.
Happy Pig Studio will never request payment to claim a prize. Sponsor may require reasonable eligibility information or a declaration of eligibility and compliance with these rules before awarding a prize.
If a selected entrant cannot be contacted, fails to respond and confirm eligibility by the applicable deadline, declines the prize, is disqualified, or is otherwise ineligible, Sponsor will select one alternate from the remaining eligible entries in that same event pool using the same documented random-selection method. A Bayfield alternate cannot be an entrant already selected for or awarded another Bayfield prize. An alternate will receive a reasonable response deadline stated in the notification.
10. Conduct and disqualification
Sponsor may disqualify any person who tampers with or attempts to circumvent the entry process, uses automation, submits false or misleading information, interferes with administration, violates these rules, or acts fraudulently or disruptively. Sponsor’s decisions regarding eligibility and administration are final to the extent permitted by law.
11. Technical failures and changes
If fraud, technical failure, platform outage, unauthorized intervention, natural disaster, event cancellation, or another circumstance outside Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or operation of either drawing, Sponsor may suspend, modify, extend, or terminate the affected drawing to the extent permitted by law. If an affected drawing is terminated after valid entries have been received, Sponsor may select its winner or winners from eligible entries received before the impairment using the method described above, when fair and practicable.
12. Release and platform disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and those directly involved in administering the Giveaway from claims arising from participation or acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of a prize, except for claims that cannot lawfully be waived.
The Giveaway is promoted through Happy Pig Studio’s website and physical signage at the Hayward and Bayfield shows. It is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Shopify or the show organizers. Entrants release those unaffiliated platforms and organizers only to the extent permitted by applicable law and only for claims arising from the Giveaway.
Nothing in these rules limits non-waivable consumer protections or other rights available under the entrant’s applicable law. No entrant grants publicity rights merely by entering; any use of a winner’s name, likeness, photograph, or story beyond private administration requires separate permission unless otherwise allowed by law.
13. Governing law
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Giveaway and these Official Rules are governed by Maryland law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and disputes must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Maryland. This provision does not eliminate consumer protections or laws that apply in an entrant’s jurisdiction and cannot lawfully be waived.
14. Winner information
After prizes are awarded, a lawful request for the winners’ first names and last initials may be sent to the Sponsor at the mailing address above within 60 days after the applicable drawing. Sponsor will not publish entrant email addresses or other private entry data. Sponsor will not announce a potential winner publicly before eligibility and claim acceptance are confirmed.
15. Rules acceptance
By entering, an entrant confirms that they have read and agree to these Official Rules and that they meet the eligibility requirements.
